Notes:
Each panel reports the percentage of tax administrations in each GNI group that answered Yes to the corresponding sub-question in ITTI Q40 (emerging technologies used in data management). The six sub-questions are: cloud storage (SQ001), robotic process automation (SQ002), artificial intelligence (SQ003), machine learning (SQ004), network analysis (SQ005), and a DataOps approach (SQ006).
Q40 is answered at the administration level, not per tax type — so these figures describe the administration's overall digital posture rather than PIT-specific capability. They nonetheless bear on PIT administration because the same platforms and skills underpin pre-population, risk scoring, and taxpayer services.
A Yes response is taken at face value and does not distinguish between pilot and production use. When a jurisdiction is highlighted, a red diamond appears on its GNI group's row in every panel where the jurisdiction answered Yes.
